The Malaria Pf/Pv Antigen Test Device is designed as a simple, rapid, qualitative and cost effective method for in vitro testing. The Malaria Pf/Pv antigen test tests for the presence of Pf HRP-II (histidine-rich protein II) specific to Plasmodium falciparum and pLDH (Plasmodium lactate dehydrogenase) specific to Plasmodium vivax in human blood specimen.
Malaria Pf/Pan Rapid is an immunochromatography based one-step in vitro diagnostic test for the qualitative determination of Pfaciparum specific pLDH (Plasmodium lactate dehydrogenase) in human whole blood as an aid in the diagnosis of Malaria infection.
For the qualitative detection of antibodies of all isotypes (IgG, IgM, IgA) specific to Plamodium Falciparum and Plasmodium Vivax simultaneously in human whole blood, serum or plasma.
The Malaria Pf Antigen Test is designed as a simple, rapid, qualitative and cost effective method for in vitro testing, the presence of Plasmodium Falciparum malaria in blood. The test is an antigen-capture assay detecting the presence of a specific soluble protein, histidine-rich protein II (PfHRP-II), which is present in, and released from infected red blood cells. The assay is intended for use with whole blood and does not require additional instruments.
